​Endurance Brewing Company was founded in 2004 with one clear goal in mind: to provide a quality beer branded to the spirit of the heroic Endurance expedition. Our flagship offering is a golden Pale Ale named in honour of the legendary 1914 Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition that was led by the esteemed explorer Ernest Shackleton. This voyage is regarded as one of the greatest nautical survival stories of all time. Though Shackleton was decorated by the Royal Navy for this epic mission, it turns out the greatest hero is our man Tom Crean from County Kerry, Ireland. Courageous, loyal, smart, and rugged, Shackleton himself referred to his Second Officer as ‘the most indestructible man there ever was.’ Crean miraculously defied all odds and saved his mates from a grisly arctic death. Through life's rollercoaster journey, the perseverance of the Endurance crew provides inspiration and perspective.
